Happy Peeps NDIS Counselling and Therapy, Support Coordination, Psychosocial Recovery Coach and functional capacity assessment services work with clients who have a disability. Our practitioners are able to work with clients who may be NDIA managed, plan managed or self-managed. We are registered directly with the NDIA. Our counselling and therapy service is a mobile service and we are able to visit you in the comfort of your own home or at school to help make the process easier.
Our therapeutic psychosocial assessments and interventions will help you develop a capacity building focus that will align with your personal goals. Your personal goals may include building your interpersonal skills, building relationships, building resilience or developing your social skills. Our practitioners will work with you using a client centred approach to empower you the participant to build your independence through developing self-management skills.
We will help you build your problem solving skills to achieve your goals and assist you to improve your daily living. You may have goals that you would like to enhance your participation and integration in your community.
Therapeutic supports are provided to assist participants aged from 4 years to apply their functional skills to improve participation and independence in daily, practical activities in areas such as: language and communication, personal care, mobility and movement, interpersonal interactions and community living.
We are also able to assist you with mental health or post-traumatic stress disorders, family and relationships, grief and loss or alcohol and other drug addictions to help you cope better in your daily functioning to help improve your quality of life.
