Olivia – Director
Olivia is the Director and Senior Accredited Mental Health Social Work Practitioner (AMHSW) with a vast array of knowledge across many of the Social Work areas. Olivia qualified from University with a Bachelor of Social Work and is a member of both the Australian Association of Social Workers and the International Federation of Social Workers.
Olivia is a registered Medicare provider for counselling and therapy services.
Olivia has participated in the following Professional Practice Groups; Private Practice Group QLD, Clinical and Mental Health Group QLD, Disability Practice Group QLD, Social Workers in Private Practice & Social Workers in Disability NSW, and International Network for Social Workers in Acquired Brain Injury (INSWABI).
Olivia works across many generalist areas of Social Work, but her areas of interest are Trauma, Eating Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, psychosocial disability, and complex case management. Olivia professionally practices using the guidelines of the Australian Association of Social Workers Code of Ethics. Olivia’s practice framework is from a client centred strengths-based approach to ensure she can provide the best support for a person’s mental health and well-being.
Olivia is an empathic and compassionate counsellor and therapist who possesses a passion for mental health and the well-being and care of other people. Olivia prides herself on her ethics and moral standards and ensures nothing but her best efforts are always delivered for our clients.
Olivia enjoys exploring the great outdoors, walking and going to the beach. Olivia loves spending time with her family and taking her puppy Luna for walks.
Caroline – Therapist
Caroline is a qualified social worker and graduated from UQ with a Bachelor of Social Work. Caroline has demonstrated experience working as a case manager and a disability support worker. Caroline has supported clients and their families with many diverse experiences and backgrounds. Caroline’s practice framework is from a holistic, empowering, strengths-based approach to support people with their emotional and mental well-being. Caroline aims to inspire and facilitate growth and positive change for people to share their lives. Caroline demonstrates respect, warmth, care and compassion and understanding in sessions and provides an open, safe and stable space for clients to feel heard and valued. Caroline applies a range of therapeutic interventions tailored to meet the needs of people and respects their lived experience.
Caroline enjoys spending her spare time with her family and friends and going to the park and beach.
Luna – Health & Well-Being Manager
Luna is our loved therapy dog in training here at Happy Peeps.
Luna loves to check in on us here at the office throughout the day and is constantly bringing us different toys to play with.
Luna walks in the morning with Olivia and spends a lot of her time sleeping under our feet and hoping we will share our lunch.
Luna is a friendly and loving addition to our team here at Happy Peeps.
